Description

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that offers a variety of living options and services to seniors, including Outpatient Therapy.  In addition to an on-campus outpatient therapy clinic, Lakeview’s therapy team also provides services at six other locations near the main campus. 

We currently have an opening for a caring and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our excellent team of rehab professionals. 

*Must be a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Kansas.*

The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists in the treatment of patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist in order to restore, maintain, or prevent the decline of patient function. Participates as an active member of the rehabilitation team.

Job Type: PRN (as needed)

Pay Rate:  $34.00 per hour

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • Must be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of Kansas, and nationally credited as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Demonstrates good communications skills, including but not limited to effective reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills, with a fluent understanding of English.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly is preferred.
  • Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
  • Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
