Position Description:
The Department of Biology at Methodist University is seeking an innovative, motivated individual to fill an open-rank, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy and Genetics, as well as introductory zoology and general biology for majors and non-majors as needed. There is also an opportunity to develop an upper-level course in your area of specialization.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 12 credits per semester (typically a 3/3 load for laboratory classes)
- Contribute to curriculum development
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other service activities
- Maintain a professional development and research agenda
