Essential Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking a technically proficient and highly curious Business Analyst who thrives on solving problems and uncovering insights. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys diving into systems, understanding complex processes, and building solutions that support and empower operations. This is a highly collaborative role with exposure to all facets of our business. It offers a unique opportunity to refine technical skills while gaining a comprehensive understanding of business operations.

 

The Business Analyst will take ownership of the ERP system, and the data extracted from it. This role serves as a key link between operations and data, ensuring the ERP system is optimized for usability and aligned with business needs. The Business Analyst will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, leveraging SQL and Excel to support data-driven decision-making across departments.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the administrator and subject matter expert for the ERP system—understanding its capabilities, limitations, and configuration.
  • Own the data environment related to the ERP system, including data extraction and reporting through Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Partner with operations and other departments to proactively identify needs and deliver system-based solutions—without waiting for specific instructions.
  • Create and maintain insightful, actionable Power BI dashboards.
  • Conduct ad hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.

Qualifications

 

Education/Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a business environment with a focus on data extraction and analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems; willingness to learn Power Motive's specific platform
  • Power BI certification is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, computer science, finance, or relevant field is preferred
