SUMMARY:

The Central Admin Communications Coordinator supports the mission and vision of St. Andrew’s by coordinating and implementing communication efforts across digital, print, and in-person channels. This role ensures clarity, consistency, and creativity in how St. Andrew’s connects with its congregation and community.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, edit, and proofread copy to ensure clear, accurate, and engaging communication.
  • Coordinate day-to-day communications across multiple platforms (web, email, print, social media).
  • Manage and maintain website content and updates (WordPress).
  • Support creation and distribution of church-wide emails, newsletters, and campaigns (MailChimp, PCO).
  • Assist with graphic design needs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Help schedule and track projects in Asana, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Implement and maintain consistent St. Andrew’s branding in all communications.
  • Provide basic social media support, including scheduling and monitoring posts.
  • Collaborate with Central Admin and other ministry teams to ensure smooth communication flow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Personal relationship with Jesus and commitment to spiritual growth.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with attention to grammar, detail, and tone.
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and communication best practices.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience with Asana, MailChimp, and Planning Center Online (preferred, not required).
  • Experience with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Mac computers.
