Electrical Assembly- 2nd Shift OH

2nd shift hours: Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm

Pay is based upon experience starting at $20/hr-$23/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for interpreting work orders and electrical schematics to assemble, wire, and label electrical panels and enclosures. This includes selecting the proper components, executing precise wire terminations, and ensuring high-quality standards in labeling, routing, and fitting of electrical wiring to prevent damage and ensure functionality.

Able to use equipment such as: 

Hand tools 

Power tools 

Tape guns 

Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards 

Visual inspection 

Process verification 

Must be able to use hands and arms manually when: 

Moving materials and products 

Handling and installing components 

Able to manufacture products based on the Bill of Materials & other documentation. 

Must be able to verify product with drawings (where applicable). 

Must be able to verify product based on work instructions. 

Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater. 

Assemble and install electrical components, such as breakers, relays, contactors, and terminals, into enclosures (also referred to as panels).

Read and interpret electrical schematics and work orders to identify components and understand wiring requirements.

Properly route, identify, and terminate wires using appropriate tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, torque wrenches).

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical assembly preferred.

1+ years of experience in electrical or panel assembly preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
