Groundskeeper/Turn Technician - Viva Palm Coast

Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a Groundskeeper to join our team at Viva at Palm Coast Apartments! This new luxury community has 204 units and is located in Palm Coast, FL.

The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and common areas of the property to ensure a clean, debris-free, safe and positive "curb appeal." This position will also be responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition. This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, and assist with the apartment make-ready process. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the grounds and common areas of the property to ensure a clean, debris-free, safe and positive "curb appeal"
• Waters lawns, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
• Fertilizes and rakes lawn
• Trims shrubs, plants and small trees
• Tends flowers; weeds, as necessary
• Sprays with insecticides 
• Assist in maintenance and cleaning of community swimming pool
• Assist in other types of service, within limits, such as: replace light bulbs for outside lighting, blows leaves and removes all debris from all stair and window wells, plant and maintain seasonal plantings.
• Assist service staff in preparation of apartments
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
• Team work to achieve property goals
• Follow safety procedures

• Experience with community swimming pool maintenance preferred, but willing to train
• Basic knowledge of power tools, carpentry skills and drywall/painting
• Excellent customer service and ability to work well with a team
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Janitorial/grounds experience preferred
• Hard worker with a strong attention to detail
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
