General Purpose:
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for aggressively identifying, pursuing, and winning new customers, both inside and—most importantly—outside of our current Area of Responsibility (AOR). The ideal candidate thrives on building relationships from the ground up, penetrating untapped markets, and positioning our dealership as the partner of choice for farmers and agribusinesses.

- Achieve targeted and agreed upon sales goal (volume and margin)
- Aggressively prospect and secure new customers in territories beyond our established AOR.
- Research, target, and penetrate competitive accounts and new market segments.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships – to strengthen customer loyalty and dealer reputation.
- Develop tailored solutions that differentiate our equipment and services in the marketplace.
- Continually improve personal selling capabilities – to respond to customer needs in a more effective manner.
- Review and implement technology solutions that create immediate and long-term results.
- Clearly communicate value propositions that demonstrate ROI and long-term benefits for customers.
- Effectively follows and supports AVE-PLP's sales process, including follow-up and timely and accurate completion of all paperwork and used equipment listing pictures and information.
- Maintain a regional customer list and ensure scheduled and consistent customer contacts leveraging the HUB.
- Maintain a working knowledge of used equipment values, effectively describe equipment condition, and share ownership to ensure a competitive and profitable future sale for both salespeople and the company at a competitive price.
- Coordinate, engage, and communicate with Store Managers, Parts, and Service to support customer needs.
- Communicate with Product Innovation and Product Support to deliver equipment and technology performance and optimization data.
- Plan and document customer interactions and meetings leveraging the HUB.
- Performs other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of AVE-PLP.
