ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital Press Operator runs any one of the digital presses and interprets print production work orders to determine the steps needed to produce a wide variety of printing projects. This is a great opportunity to work independently and help produce the highest quality print products and materials. We’re looking for someone with experience in digital printing who is reliable, self-motivated, and looking to expand their skill set.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate digital presses. (B/W, Color, and/or Hp)
- Review and interpret production work orders.
- Communicate with other departments and staff members to gather any additional information needed to complete the job.
- Knowledge of Variable Data Printing (VDP)
- Troubleshoot problems and take corrective action, make repairs, and notify supervisor
of difficulties.
- Communicate information to other shift operators.
- Work with safety in mind and report any potential unsafe circumstances.
- Willing to work in other departments as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one (1) year of experience in digital printing.
- Experience operating digital printing equipment without supervision.
- Understand a print production work order and determine what steps are needed to produce a wide variety of printing projects.
- Experience performing basic printing equipment troubleshooting and maintenance, including changing paper and toner, clearing jams, and following on-screen instructions to bring equipment back to operational standards.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or stand for long periods of time.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
