EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have at least one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, preferably providing personal care in a health facility or in-home setting.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required within six (6) months of hire.
- Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Home Health Aide, or Injections Certificate preferred (additional compensation may be available for certified individuals).

PRE-SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires clearance of a DOJ and FBI criminal history background check.
- Requires pre-employment physical, and PPD skin test (TB screening).
- COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) vaccines preferred.

- Basic knowledge of computers and web-based applications such as timekeeping, training, and email programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, as well as the ability to bend, reach, squat, and assist participants with mobility. The CarePartner must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds and provide hands-on support when transferring participants in and out of chairs, wheelchairs, or vehicles using proper body mechanics and lift-assist equipment when required. Visual and auditory ability is necessary to monitor participant safety, observe changes in condition, read documentation, and communicate effectively with participants and staff. The work environment may require responding quickly to participant needs and maintaining a calm and supportive presence.
