Job Summary:  

The Vice President of Solutions position reports to the President and Chief Operating Officer. The VP, Solutions will play a critical role in the strategic leadership of the company and work closely with the President and Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership team to help set and implement the company’s overall strategic direction.   Serves as a resource and strategic leader providing business insight on all aspects of Revenue Cycle Services for assigned client locations. Responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and ensuring projects and initiatives are financially profitable and meet or exceed margin thresholds. This is a key leadership role, with high visibility and impact on the client, internal stakeholders, and the overall operational performance of the organization. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Provides direction to ensure Client’s strategic objectives are met along with all key Revenue Cycle performance Metrics (SLAs and OSLs). 

  • Consults with appropriate key stakeholders to identify issues related to revenue cycle performance and works with leadership to develop and then manage appropriate outcomes. 

  • Strategizes leadership to proactively assist in improved performance and problem avoidance, including the deployment of necessary resources. 

  • Ensure seamless delivery of Access Healthcare’s solutions and services to attain revenue goals; monitor and ensure projects meet process metrics and client satisfaction. 

  • Consult with key stakeholders when issues arise, develop, and communicate action plans and provide ongoing updates. 

  • Work with the Process Leader to oversee process changes in the operational processes that track financial and performance goals. 

  • Performs other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills. 

  • Capable of engaging across functions and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders. 

  • Not a traditional client management or vendor profile — must bring both strategic thinking and operational depth. 

  • Able to define and lead solution design, working cross-functionally across teams. 

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end processes, including pricing, margin tracking, and automation potential. 

  • Brings structure to current processes, documents effectively, and creates repeatable models. 

  • Experienced in environments where data and solutions are tightly linked to operational outcomes and client impact. 

  • Skilled at translating technical data insights into commercial and strategic decisions. 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related disciplines preferred. 

  • 15 + years of professional experience in healthcare industry 

  • 15 + years of experience in revenue cycle management  

  • RCM consulting leaders from firms like Huron and Alvarez & Marshal a plus

  • Strong revenue cycle management consulting experience, with a deep understanding of payor-provider dynamics and data-led solutioning.  

  • Must be knowledgeable in healthcare industry and HIPAA Compliance.
