Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Program Supports to lead our Early Intervention and Systems Navigation departments. This strategic executive role is responsible for enhancing service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, this role will work closely with the VP of Case Management and advise the Executive Team and Board of Directors on program planning and implementation.

This hybrid role offers a 4-day, 40-hour workweek, Monday – Thursday and includes the flexibility to work remotely, as well as the opportunity to collaborate in-person based at our headquarters office in Aurora, CO, and/or at off-site locations.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Public Health, or related field.
  • 10+ years of management experience, including supervisory roles.
  • 5+ years of experience in case management, early intervention, or related human services.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs, Medicare billing, and IDEA Part C regulations.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in policy development or advisory board participation.
  • Service Coordination core competency and IFSP training.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead the strategy, compliance, and operations of Early Intervention and Systems Navigation programs.
  • Align departmental goals with organizational objectives.
  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Program & Service Delivery

  • Ensure high-quality, person-centered services and seamless program transitions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize program management.
  • Represent the agency in state and federal monitoring and advocacy efforts.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise Directors and foster a culture of mentorship and innovation.
  • Ensure effective staffing, coaching, and performance management.
  • Promote professional development and consistent supervisory practices.

Data & Quality Management

  • Monitor service delivery metrics and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Oversee data systems and ensure integrity and quality assurance.
  • Analyze trends to inform decision-making and improve outcomes.

Budget & Fiscal Management

  • Develop and manage departmental budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures and resolve budget variances in collaboration with leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy

  • Stay informed on legislative and policy matters.
  • Build partnerships and negotiate contracts to expand resources.
  • Represent the agency in policy-making forums related to Early Intervention and Systems Navigation.

Started in 1964, Developmental Pathways (DP) is a nonprofit agency serving more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties. We are a designated Case Management Agency (CMA) for long-term care services and are one of Colorado’s Community Centered Boards (CCB), connecting people to federal, state, county, and private funding. We are also Colorado’s largest Early Intervention (EI) provider and help connect young children to essential resources, serving the City of Aurora in addition.
