Virginia Health Services is in search of Licensed Practical Nurses to join our dedicated team here at our Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers located in Yorktown, Gloucester, & Kilmarnock, VA. These positions have a variety of openings, including Part Time and Full Time opportunities, with Day, Evening or Night shift, and every other weekend. The starting rate is at $25-$34/hour, based on experience, with a $3,000 retention bonus for full time employees!

We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate the best quality of skilled care and long-term care for our residents. You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on the care they will be receiving.

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds current Virginia license.
• Experience/education in Gerontological Nursing preferred.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information.
• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, turn, bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, reach, talk, hear, taste and smell.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.
