Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance to lead our facility operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of our building and grounds, supporting a high-quality living experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety.
  • Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; manage scheduling, training, and performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and inspections.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  • Respond promptly to resident and staff maintenance requests.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fire safety, health, and environmental standards
  • Resident & Staff Support: Provide responsive service, and hands on support, to resident and staff maintenance requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and comfort.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
