Description

Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is looking for a Full-Time Mover/Maintenance Technician role to support our residential programs. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday from 9-5 pm.

 

Pay starting at $18.00

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for physically moving furniture and supplies into the apartments.
  • Responsible for the purchase of apartment supplies and furniture to set up client apartments.
  • Responsible for resetting apartments for re-leasing which includes cleaning.
  • Performs small maintenance tasks and assemble small furniture.
  • Provide direction to youth assistants helping with moves and apartment turnovers.
  • Responsible for operating agency box truck.
  • Assist facilities manager with upkeep of facilities, including but not limited to, painting, grounds maintenance, and assisting with maintenance or renovation projects.
  • Help employees with office needs including but not limited to hanging bulletin boards and moving files   

 

​Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma. Experience in related field required.
  • Minimum one (1) year training/experience in maintenance fielld required.
  • Degree from a vocational school preferred. 
  • Good driving record.
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma. Experience in related field.                                   

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Services preferred or a minimum of a two years degree in Human related services and two years related experience.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Good driving record.
  • Valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
