Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is looking for a dedicated Part Time and PRN Young Adult Care Speicalist for our homeless shelter. The Sheakley Center is a homeless shelter for 18 to 24 year old designed to end homeless episodes as quickly as possible. Our end goal is to guide young people off the streets and into secure housing. Â

Part Time Saturday Sunday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
  Part Time Saturday Sunday 3:30 pm to 11:30 pmÂ
Part Time Sunday Monday 12:00 am to 8:00 am
Full Time Tuesday through Saturday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
Essential Functions:
- Must be a role model providing direct care, supervision, crisis interventions and documentation of daily activities.
- Prepare meals, facilitating group sessions, and outings, providing security, observation, housekeeping, preparing medication completing intakes, shift paperwork and other duties as assigned.
- Provide direct supervision of youth and facility throughout the work shift.
- Supervise activities, chores, hygiene, and bedtimes times by following program schedule.
- Assist team by completing paperwork related to program outcomes. Document any significant events that occur during the shift in a daily log, service ticket and/or progress note.
