PURPOSE
Contribute to the overall success of Matrix Design by contributing to the successful completion of 
automation systems that solve the complex problems of our customers.
 

OVERVIEW
The Project Manager facilitates the successful design, engineering, build-out, runoff, and commissioning 
of projects by leading successful Project Teams. Project Managers serve as the key point of contact for 
customers throughout a project’s duration, are responsible for managing and maintaining the schedule, 
and ensuring the project follows the Matrix Way.

Lead Project Teams with Excellence

• Lead project teams through the execution of projects within the budget, hours, 
• milestones, concept, requirements, and scope
• Coach project teams and team members
• Ensure projects are executed following the Matrix Way operational process
• Execute projects utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards
• Manage a detailed project schedule
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Plan, delegate, and implement team initiatives.
• Identify team goals and evaluate team progress

Promote Clear Communication 

• Serve as primary liaison with the customer
• Facilitate inter-department communication and collaboration
• Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

• Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science, business, or a related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
