OVERVIEWÂ
As a Sales Application Engineer at Matrix Design, you'll be a key player on the Sales team, reporting to the Vice President of Operations. Your main responsibility is to develop and propose industrial automation concepts that meet customers' specific needs. This role is a blend of technical expertise and collaborative teamwork, focused on creating innovative solutions within the robotics industry.Â
This position is an excellent fit for someone with a technical background in industrial robotic automation who thrives on developing and designing turnkey automation systems. Â

- Willingness to stay late, come in early, and travel to customer locations SolidWorks, CAD, Rendering, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Simulation SoftwareÂ
Key Responsibilities & ExpectationsÂ
- Conceptualize and Design Solutions: You'll be at the forefront of creating automation concepts by working with sales and customers to identify needs, select equipment, and estimate costs. You will also be responsible for drafting budgetary and firm quotes and assisting in customer presentations.Â
- Team Collaboration: You're expected to be a great team player. This includes whiteboarding concepts with a team and working closely with the Vice President of Operations and other Sales Team members to produce solutions.Â
- Continuous Improvement: You'll actively seek innovative ways to improve processes, creating concepts that are fast, efficient, simple, and clever. This involves using tools like Epicor, SolidWorks, and CAD to model and present ideas.Â
