Job Summary: Internship Program Overview - Midrex’s 2026 Summer Internship Program offers an immersive assignment to undergraduate and graduate students, enhancing their understanding of the business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a people centric organization. Midrex offers a 20-40 hour per week, paid internship that begins with an orientation in May and concludes in August.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging visual content for internal channels, including intranet, digital signage, presentations, email communications, event materials, and more.
- Partner closely with the Marketing & Communications team to support communication strategies and initiatives.
- Translate complex or technical messages into visually appealing and easy-to-understand formats (infographics, explainer visuals, slide decks).
- Create branded, visually compelling presentations for leadership, company-wide meetings, training, and special initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency and visual alignment across all internal materials and messaging.
- Support internal events and programs through promotional materials, signage, and post-event recaps.
- Stay current with trends in visual communication, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
Skills/Abilities:
Required:
- Portfolio demonstrating design for internal audiences, including presentations, campaigns, and other materials.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or in Graphic Design, or related field.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
