Program: Women’s Bridge
Position: Residential Aide
Location: Groton
Salary: $17/hourly
Hours: Full Time 30 hours, 3rd shift Thursday through Saturday 10p-8a
Are you an individual who wants to make an impact on the lives of others? The Connection is opening a NEW Residential Program that will support women with mental health needs who are transitioning to the community after a period of incarceration.
Position Summary:
This Residential Aide will utilize a strengths-based & client-centered approach, providing structure and supervision to justice-involved women as they re-enter the community.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals in recovery and/or those who are justice-involved or have a customer service background and be highly motivated to help others make positive change.
An ability to be both structured and compassionate while maintaining professional and respectful boundaries is required.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
