Job Description

RAM Mounts USA is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team to drive the business forward in the Marine and Outdoors verticals.  Your customers will be large outdoor retailers, kayak manufacturers, boat builders, marine electronics OEMs and more.  The product line includes the world’s most reliable fish finder mounts, mobile electronic mounts, fishing rod holders, camera mounts, and much more. We are looking for someone with a passion for fishing and outdoors, who can manage the details and complexities of working with technical products, while building relationships and driving sales to key accounts and targets. 

This position is office based, located in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle, frequently engaging with our in-person engineering, marketing and our USA based production teams. The position includes travel to industry and customer events 10% to 25% of the time.  We are looking for team players who can provide valuable solutions to our clientele by selling our high-quality product line.  Compensation includes a base salary, benefits package, and bonus plan.  Be part of a growing team in a thriving industry. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the industry expert for our products in your specific vertical 
  • Grow sales within a group of existing accounts specific to your vertical 
  • Maintain and expand key customer relationships 
  • Prospect and develop net new accounts 
  • Capture accurate and complete information in the CRM system 
  • Develop strategic approaches for sales within your book of accounts 
  • Communicate with customers on production updates and other inquiries 
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to develop new products 
  • Travel to trade shows, customer and training events to represent RAM Mounts, USA.  

Qualifications

Skills and Specifications: 

  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Word, web conferencing, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Salesforce (or comparable CRM system) 
  • Excellent telephone sales and service skills 
  • Organized and self-disciplined 
  • Effective presentation skills 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Energetic with a self-starter mentality 
  • Team player 

Education and Qualifications: 

  • Prefer 2-4 years of sales experience or transferable skills 
  • Valid State Driver’s License 
  • Valid domestic travel documents (Real ID or US Passport) 
  • Background in marine and outdoor industry 

Salary Range: $78,000 – 85,000 per year
