About the Department

The Nutrition Services Department is a vibrant, compassionate team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. In our long-term care facility, we go beyond serving meals- we created moments of comfort, dignity, and connection through high quality nutrition and personalized care.

As a Nutrition Services Aide, you will join a collaborative team that celebrates fresh ideas, encourages growth, and takes pride in making a difference one meal at a time.

Mission for Position

To provide exceptional dining experience. No food leaves our kitchen, we ourselves would not eat. Be loose and have fun.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares meals under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook
• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Clears dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discards leftovers and takes out garbage.
• Cleans food stations and washes dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
• Stocks ingredients and monitors’ inventory.
• Assist in keeping track of expenses and menu planning as needed.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Washing dishes.
• Putting dishes away

Position Type

• Part-Time Day Position
  • Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Part-Time Evening Position
  • Hours: 4:30 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Schedule: Every other weekend and some holidays required

Qualifications

• Must be 16 year of age or older
• Kitchen Experience preferred
