About the Team
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing professional reception and scheduling services to patients, visitors and staff in a growing clinic setting. Applicants should have 5-star service standards, be detail orientated and able to multi-task and problem solve. This position works closely with patients, providers and clinic nursing staff to ensure a well-rounded care experience for patients. It is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, which makes this position an integral part of the care team. Mission for Position
As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a pivotal role in creating a seamless experience for patients from their first contact with the clinic. By managing patient inquiries, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring data accuracy, you will support the entire care process, contributing to an efficient, patient-centered environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Patient Onboarding and Registration: Ensure smooth patient registration, collect necessary information, and reduce wait times.
- Insurance and Financial Guidance: Verify insurance coverage and explain financial responsibilities.
- Appointment Management: Schedule and coordinate appointments, manage cancellations, and send reminders.
- Patient Support: Educate and assist patients throughout their care journey, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Data Accuracy and Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in patient records, adhering to HIPAA and clinic policies.
- Customer Service: Respond to patient feedback, address access issues, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Position Type
This is a full-time position averaging 80 hours every two weeks at our Eagle Bend clinic. Hours are between 8:00AM to 4:30PM on weekdays, with no weekend requirement.
