Island Creek Oysters (ICO) is a mission-based brand engaged in promoting the development of aquaculture’s role in our food systems—locally and globally.
Island Creek Oysters seeks to create incredible guest experiences that capture the spirits and ethos of a modern day oyster farm. The ICO guest experience celebrates the Island Creek way of life both on the farm in Duxbury and further afield in Portland, Maine.
The Driver will be responsible for loading the company van in Duxbury, MA, with items designated for delivery to the Seaport Raw Bar. Upon arrival, the driver will unload the items as directed. Following this stop, the driver will proceed to Red’s Best in Boston, MA, to pick up sushi for delivery to the Winsor House. Once the pickup is complete, the Driver will return to Duxbury to deliver the sushi to the Winsor House in a timely and professional manner.
Candidates for the Driver position must be able to arrive in Duxbury, MA at approximately 6am and finish their workday in Duxbury, MA.
The Driver reports directly to the Sous Chef.
ROLE:
- Deliver and unload products to assigned locations
- Operate a forklift to safely load and unload pallets of ice
- Ensure safe and secure handling of all items during transit
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery van
- Communicate effectively with vendors and team members
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures and delivery times
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class D driver’s license (No CDL required)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
