Summary


Leader Bank is looking for a Fraud Analyst who will support the Fraud Operations team in identifying and escalating financial crimes, suspicious activity, and misconduct. This role involves maintaining subject knowledge and contributing to a team that works to proactively identify and stop fraud and mitigate related losses to Leader Bank and its clients. The Fraud Analyst must have excellent organization, communication, and prioritization skills. 


Responsibilities

 

  • Review and acknowledge daily all account fraud and card fraud alerts in Leader Bank’s transaction monitoring platform, which includes direct outreach to Bank clients to establish validity of suspect or possibly fraudulent transactions. 
  • Generate, process, and resolve fraud cases through the Bank’s case management system, and close cases when appropriate.
  • Investigate potentially fraudulent activities identified by Bank systems or forwarded by internal teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all relevant industry trends and present critical and applicable information as needed to management.
  • Continuously monitor internal communication sources (such as Outlook, Teams, and phone) during regularly scheduled business hours for any communications regarding fraud, and respond in a timely manner.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications 

 

  • Three to four (3-4) years related experience in fraud or financial crime and banking operations.
  • The ability to analyze policies, procedures, and data, and provide recommendations to mitigate risk and enhance fraud prevention measures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Experience with Verafin and Fiserv Navigator (Premier) preferred.
