Summary

 


We are looking for motivated individuals that will be responsible for performing loan administration functions, processes all commercial loan transactions, including loan closings. Team members will be responsible for compiling and analyzing due diligence materials which will include documentation for all loans, including construction loans. Individuals will be responsible for after closing due diligence and QC follow up by monitoring, tracking, and updating commercial loan files to ensure loans comply with regulations, policy, and procedures. Responsible for identifying, researching, solving and/or responding to requests, inquiries, and problem situations from members and other departments in a timely manner. Responsible for clerical functions. Providing high quality and professional service to members and potential members.    

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide Commercial Lending Support to Relationship Managers.
  • Review and Fund Loans.
  • Processes and administers commercial loans. Records new loans, establishes relevant files, processes loan payments, and maintains loan records.
  • Calculates loan items and charges such as interest and payments.
  • Assists lending officers in activities such as disbursement of funds and extension of new loans.
  • Answer client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts, and policies; researches and corrects account discrepancies.
  • Prepares loan documents, as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining Relationship Managers portfolios – clear loan, collateral and deposit exceptions, credit exceptions, assist with past dues.
  • Be able to identify clients’ operational needs and bank products/services to meet these needs and establish proficiency.
  • Assist the bank's clients in all areas of the clients’ relationship with the bank, including loans, deposits, and other bank services.
  • Process commercial client’s withdrawals on lines of credit, including facilitating lender approvals for such requests.
  • Communicate with clients, attorney’s, insurance companies, title companies, and various other professionals.
  • Responsible for reconciling invoices for appraisals, flood determinations, UCC’s and familiar with OFAC.
  • Work closely with Bankers, Underwriters, Commercial Loan Servicing, and legal documentation areas to ensure satisfactory closing of loans to clients with supervision.
  • Have understanding and ability to review loan documentation/funding, and basic understanding of attorney prepared documents.
  • Obtains additional information, as needed, to complete files.
  • Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.
  • Preparing and processing construction draws as needed.

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Ability to work closely with, cooperate, and assist others.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Must be highly organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in computer skills specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Must be able to demonstrate established competency levels for all required regulatory or compliance-related processes and/or procedures within established timeframes of appointment.
  • Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • 1-5 years commercial lending experience preferred.

 

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Leader Bank salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.

Salary Minimum: $60,266 - Salary Max: $90,398

The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank’s total compensation package for team members. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
