We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our orthopedic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide integrative care to patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions using acupuncture and related techniques. This role involves assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with surgeons, doctors, physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists in order to promote the best outcomes for patients. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

    •    Conduct and document patient examinations to assess injuries, symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle in our EMR system.

    •    Develop and implement personalized acupuncture treatment plans.

    •    Administer acupuncture treatments using Clean Needle Technique.

    •    May incorporate other techniques such as cupping, acupressure, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy.

    •    Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.

    •    Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in EMR.

    •    Follow safety, hygiene, and ethical standards at all times. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

    •    Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine from an accredited institution.

    •    Licensure/Certification: California State Acupuncture License required. 

    •   Experience practicing acupuncture required.

    •   Experience in Workers Compensation preferred

    •    Strong knowledge of human anatomy, orthopedics and TCM diagnostic methods.

    •    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    •    Caring and professional demeanor.
