We are seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Outpatient Substance Use Program. You will provide direct client services and support one-on-one and/or in a group setting. A Peer Recovery Specialist is a unique and important role when supporting clients through their recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Engage in individual recovery-based activities with clients.
• Provide clients and potential clients with support as you build a trusting relationship.
• Provide information about services and referrals
• Provide hope, encouragement, and support through the phases of recovery.
• Provide a model for both people in recovery and staff by demonstrating that recovery is possible.
• Complete all required documentation timely and accurately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One year in recovery from a substance use disorder
• Completed Peer Recovery Support Specialist certification
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

In order to provide an integrative approach we offer a wide variety of services including Outpatient Psychotherapy and Substance Use, Inpatient Residential Treatment, Withdrawal Management and Detoxification, Housing, Skills – Based Training and Targeted Case Management for adults and children, and more.

Pay: $23.26 - $27.33 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
