Qualifications and Education Required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use a computer, Microsoft Office, vendor portal systems, and carrier label software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, data entry, and reporting).
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude along with a strong work ethic.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred). Previous forklift experience required.
- Excellent teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have excellent audit skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Forklift certification preferred.
Physical Demands
Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs frequently. Must be able to work in a plant environment with loud noise, temperature fluctuations, etc. Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, stooping, twisting and bending.
Working Environment
Usual manufacturing environment with temperature fluctuations, noise from and interactions with equipment, and safety standards of PPE and practices required.
