Schedule: This position is a part of the Nursing Management Team and will regularly work weekdays with rotating on-call and Manager on Duty. This position must be willing to work the floor as needed as well.

Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Assisted Living Director (Non-Nurse) to join our team! This position is responsible for the overall personal care services provided by the community staff to the residents of the community.
Responsibilities:

- Lead daily team huddles to review 24-Hour Communication Logs and Resident Service Notes, ensuring prompt attention to resident changes and care needs.
- Observes and recommends assessment if residents demonstrate a significant change in health or functional status.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Support the implementation and adherence to Life Safety and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Actively participate in QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) leadership meetings.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding and training department Team Members.
- Provides coaching for department Team Members as appropriate
- Develop and lead training/programs for families as needed
- Monitors and assists with all the daily operations of the program including but not limited to the following: ordering of supplies, monitor food expiration dates and cleanliness of kitchen, monitor completion of laundry services, environmental services
- Assists with meal service and snacks, followed by clean-up as necessary.
- Provides services to residents as indicated on Resident Service Plans which may include grooming and dressing guidance, assistance with bathing, and medication reminders/ assistance.
- Ability to communicate and advocate with physicians and other health professionals regarding resident’s health status or health needs.
- Ability to take part in the on-call rotation for scheduling needs.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or designee.
