Childhood Drowning Prevention Foundation

Status: Hourly - Salary Range: $18 to $20 per hour

Reports to: CEO

 

The mission of the Childhood Drowning Prevention Foundation is Preventing Drowning, One Child at a Time. The Foundation conducts water safety skill and stroke technique lessons through its Big Kahuna Swim Academy program. The Foundation is a new and growing nonprofit that requires good leaders to support its continued growth and expansion in meeting its mission. The Foundation has a teamwork culture and believes in developing and rewarding its employees. As such, the Foundation’s pay scales are above average and include bonus programs for all staff. While the Foundation may recruit for higher level leadership positions from the outside, the company values the notion of providing advancement opportunities for its staff. Big Kahuna Swim Academy was founded in 2015 by Tenaya Goldsmith and is the official swim program of the Childhood Drowning Prevention Foundation. Our mission is to prevent drowning – one child at a time.

Admin Customer Service Rep

Our Admin Customer Service Reps are what help our company be able to provide life-saving swim lessons! They are the blood the brings air to the extremities of our organization. Be a part of an amazing team that is striving to make a noticeable difference in the world!

 

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities of the Executive/Personal Assistant include:

  • Help serving potential clients that come in from our ads and other sources
  • Booking new clients
  • Assisting current clients with their needs
  • Collaborate with organization leadership team to solve problems quickly
  • Collaborate with managers to create schedules (or CEO if proper management is not in place)
  • Modify day to day lessons if needed
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for Board of Directors
  • Attend monthly Team Meeting and Training Sessions
  • Provide high level of customer service to all current, past and potential clients
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all team members, clients and students
  • Any additional tasks that the CEO assigns

 

 

Qualifications

Skills, Abilities and Experience

  • Bilingual (at least English and Spanish)
  • Executive assistant experience
  • Admin and customer service experience
  • Willing to learn and adhere to our ways of operating
  • Transportation to travel to all of our locations
  • Reliable and on time
  • Passion for water safety and drowning prevention is a plus
  • Professional, courteous, patient, kind, trustworthy, and enthusiastic
  • Detail-oriented, self-starting, and able to work independently
  • A good work ethic and a good problem solver
  • Strong focus on providing the highest level of customer experience
  • Good communication skills and drive to learn and become better every day
  • Honest, fast learner, who has integrity and can follow specific directions
