- Ability to operate hand tools, electrical testers, small power tools,
- Must possess intermediate knowledge of painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry, cement work, HVAC, roofing and related work.
- Possesses customer service, communication, and some computer skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years of experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair
- Good skill in the use of hand and power tools.
- Must possess a valid state of Illinois driver’s license
- Completion of college or technical school HVAC certificates.
- Knowledge and understanding of blueprints, and electrical wiring diagrams.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, staff, and memberships.
