Racquet Sports Assistant Director, Tennis Admin

Provide world-class tennis instruction and customer service to encourage repeat business.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop safe, professional and comprehensive lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued development and a positive learning environment.

Monitor, demonstrate, and instruct students on proper technique and strategies to improve their overall game.

Ensure students understand tennis rules, scoring procedures, safety rules and tennis etiquette

Ensure all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in great working condition.

Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments & concerns.

Sales & Promotion

  • Involve members in program, tournaments and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support system & tools.
  • Actively participate in the system wide sales efforts with membership advisors and member activities, ensuring tennis is an integral component of the LSF brand, integrating new members into the LSF tennis program.
  • Identify inactive tennis players and re-engage them in appropriate programs, selling tennis programs, lessons, court times, and equipment.
  • Actively develop a positive image for LSF tennis in the community through involvement with schools, community education programs, charities, and fundraisers.
  • Work closely with other LSF business units to raise awareness about
  • Tennis and look for creative ways to partner with them to improve their member experience.
  • Continuously increase your knowledge of all LSF Programs, products and services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must teach 25 hours on court, as well as engage in 5 hours of administration work weekly
  • Take full and accurate for all of your classes
  • Review commission reports and payroll
  • Fill our and turn in weekly confirmation sheets and attend all meetings
  • Work at camp days and LSF functions

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

PTR/PTA Certification
