Under direct supervision, the Engagement Specialist II works with staff to support the Library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library.
This position will be assigned to the Community Libraries (Choctaw, Jones, Harrah, Nicoma Park and Luther). The candidate should be available to work at all listed locations.
The hiring salary for this position is $21.57 hourly. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. This position is not exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.  The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work the following days: Monday from 9:00 to 6:00 pm, Tuesday from 9:00 to 5:30 pm, Wednesday from 12:00 to 9:00 pm, Thursday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 to 6:00 pm as well as a Saturday and Sunday shift once a month.* Â
