Engagement Specialist II-FT

Under direct supervision, the Engagement Specialist II works with staff to support the Library's strategic goals and initiatives by assisting customers and providing relevant and timely programs and services, both inside and outside the library. This position will assist guests of all ages but will have a specific emphasis on teen programming.

This position will be assigned to the Edmond Library, which is located at 10 S. Boulevard in Edmond, OK  73034.

The hiring salary for this position is $21.57 hourly.  This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.  This position is not exempt from the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.  The current need for this position requires that the candidate be available to work the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 12:00 to 9:00 pm and a monthly rotating shift of Saturday and Sunday.*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from an accredited college or university; and
• One year of customer service experience.
