As a Systems Administrator I at USME you will efficiently field, track and resole both higher lever and escalated incidents, service requests, problems and changes ensuring that our USME employees serve healthcare providers so they can focus on patient healing.
A Day in the Life
- Able to efficiently field, track, and resolve both higher level and escalated incidents, service requests, problems, and changes.
- Able to prioritize and deliver assigned Infrastructure projects amidst day-to-day requests outlined above
- Responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and maintenance of all USME Network Infrastructure (Firewalls, Switches, Access Points, Cameras, and Sensors)
- Responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of cloud resources such as but not limited to:
- Azure Resource Groups
- Entra ID (Cloud Identity)
- Azure VMs
- Azure SQLaaS
- Azure App Services
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure VNETs
- AADDS
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of USME’s Microsoft365 Tenant such as but not limited to:
- User Administration
- Teams Administration
- SharePoint Administration
- Exchange Administration
- Power Platform Administration
- Responsible for the management, maintenance, and migration from legacy infrastructure resources such as but not limited to:
- On-prem physical servers
- On-prem Hypervisors
- NAS Appliances
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of all USME endpoints via Management platforms:
- Meraki SM - iPhones
- Microsoft Endpoint (Intune) - Windows devices & Android phones
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of all USME backup solutions to ensure 100% redundancy and business-continuity;
- Spanning (M365, SF, SP)
- Azure Backups
- On-Prem Backups
- Oversight and maintenance of all USME cyber-security solutions, such as but not limited to:
- Defender
- Sentinel
- Mimecast
- Threatlocker
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of all other cloud platforms that drive USME, such as but not limited to:
- ServiceDesk Plus
- ServiceNow
- Salesforce
- Acumatica
- Responsible for the creation and management of technical documents (KB Articles) as they pertain to the systems administrator role and/or infrastructure department.
- Travel <10%
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and documentation of various IT infrastructure projects (e.g., cloud migrations, system upgrades, new technology rollouts).
- Assist with procurement and deployment of infrastructure for all Nationwide Operations growth projects
- Assists as needed in the procurement of new equipment and helps advise technically
- Helps drive efficiency through mindful observation, analysis, and proposition of cutting-edge technical solutions
- Maintain updated knowledge of equipment, services, and policies through regular professional development trainings.
- Travel nationally as needed
- All other duties as assigned
