Education and Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with preference given to a four-year (4) degree from a recognized college or university. Certification with the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association “Level 1” Certification or similar preferred. Minimum of 3-5 year teaching experience with a variety of ability levels of pickleball.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Certification with International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) certification preferred.
- Valid IL Driver's License
- American Red Cross CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to teach all levels of pickleball.
- Ability to teach or learn padel.
- Ability to communicate and maintain patience in a teaching setting.
Wage Range:
- $35.00-$45.00 per hour on-court pay rate DOQ (35 hours per week)
- $25.00-$30.00 per hour administrative pay rate DOQ (5 hours per week)
Classification: Full-Time, Non-exempt

Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor office and pickleball/padel play facility and is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions with outdoor court work. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to vibration and flying objects.
