Job Summary:

The E-Commerce Marketplace Specialist will be responsible for managing product listings, advertising, and promotions across Amazon and other third-party marketplaces to drive sustainable growth and profitability. This role will report to the Director of E-Commerce and Marketing and collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to execute marketplace strategies and achieve business objectives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Marketplace Growth (Sustainable and Scalable): Drive growth across Amazon and other marketplaces through strategic product assortment, competitive pricing, operational efficiency, and performance-led marketing.
  • Listings and Content: Create and manage product listings using third-party tools, focusing on discoverability and conversion. Maintain listing accuracy across marketplaces and remove outdated or duplicate content as needed.
  • Performance Marketing and Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize advertising campaigns and promotions across Amazon and other marketplaces. Manage budgets with a focus on driving sales, improving efficiency, and protecting profitability.
  • Data Analysis, Insights & Forecasting: Turn marketplace data into actionable insights by analyzing sales, inventory, advertising, pricing, and competition to guide forecasting and strategic decisions.
  • Operational Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure efficient order management, strategic inventory planning, and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Partner Management: Manage relationships with software providers, supplier partners, and marketplace contacts. Ensure partners are aligned with strategic goals and delivering results across performance, content, and channel growth initiatives.
  • Innovation and Trend Monitoring: Stay current on marketplace trends, platform changes, and emerging tools. Test new features and strategies to identify opportunities, improve performance, and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience managing Amazon and other 3P marketplaces with broad assortments, active ad programs, and operational complexity, delivering sustained growth and profitability.
  • Hands-on expertise in 3P marketplace advertising, focused on ROAS, ACoS, and promotions including Coupons, Deals, and limited-time offers.
  • Skilled in optimizing 3P product listings for visibility, accuracy, and conversion across marketplaces.
  • Proficient in tools like Rithum, Helium 10, and Feedvisor for catalog management and performance tracking.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Creative problem-solver with a test-and-learn mindset and passion for ecommerce.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory Responsibility:  This position does not have direct report responsibility.

Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment as well as warehouse and outside sales. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. 

Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  The job has a low amount of physical demands – sitting at a desk, filing, and using office equipment. This job could require being able to lift 20 lbs.

Travel:  This position requires less than 10% travel.
