Job Overview
The Regional Director coordinates and oversees the operation of the hotel satellite offices, including overall responsibility for supervising the Hotel Directors and maintaining quality control. Ensure the maximum in client service, operational efficiency, employee development and profitability levels.

Responsibilities and Duties
The Regional Director, Midwest, will supervise the Hotel Director and staff, as well as coordinate and oversee the operation of the hotel satellite offices within the Midwest region. This role maintains overall responsibility to assure adequate operation and quality control. The Regional Director can hire or terminate employees or make suggestions and recommendations regarding hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status. The goal is to ensure the highest levels of client service, operational efficiency, employee development, and profitability. The role involves building strong positive customer service relations with local hotel executives, clients, and immediate staff. The Regional Director will prospect partnership opportunities to assist in developing the Five-Star portfolio, including contacting potential leads, scheduling, and conducting sales calls, and coordinating presentations to procure new business, while maintaining and developing current partner relationships.Â

Operations Management
- Effectively oversee day to day operation procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Effectively manage the sub-rental of equipment to ensure client need and office profitability is met.
- Manage on-site inventory according to company standards, including utilization, maintenance and repair.
- Maintain positive employee relations.
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of and experience with all audiovisual applications.
- Certification in audiovisual technology or related courses (preferred)Â .
- Maintain sales efforts and follow-up of Hotel onetime clients for future leads and potential business.
- Ensure client and hotel account billing is completed accurately and on-time.
- Effectively utilize the company’s business software.
- Maintaining a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self, as well as subordinates.
- Ensures adaptation and implementation of the Experiential Method at all locations within your region.
- Other related duties as required or assigned.

Customer Service
- Exceptional customer service and/or hospitality experience required, with a minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in the audiovisual industry.Â
- Portrays a polished, professional image according to the guidelines in the Employee Guide and/or hotel standards and ensures the team adheres to the same standards.
- Actively maintain and cultivate positive public relations with Hotel account.
- Supervises and mentors all on-site staff to ensure client satisfaction and revenue maximization.
Â
Employee Relations
- Maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Oversee interviewing and hiring of employees.
- Assure that all new hires are properly trained on Five-Star policies and all audiovisual equipment.
- Continually develop employees assigned to office.
- Conduct timely team member reviews.
- Address employee concerns or questions.

Evaluations
- Observe and evaluate the work of the Director, Event Production at each location.
- Prepare written performance evaluation of Director, Event Productions at each location every 12 months.
- Conduct performance evaluation interviews with the Director, Event Productions at each location.
- Assure that performance evaluations for all regional employees are regularly scheduled.
- Assure Individual Development Plans (IDP) are executed for all region employees.
Budgeting and Purchasing
- Assure maximum rental potential of audiovisual services.
- Assure budgeted rentals and maximum profitability is achieved.
- Employ all company tools to assist Director, Event Production to be financially successful including weekly and monthly financial evaluations.
- In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, develop long and short-term financial objectives.
- Proven record of accomplishment of managing multiple properties with AV revenue exceeding $4 million. (preferred).
