The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality medical care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education. This role will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care delivery and will prescribe medications, perform procedures, and manage chronic conditions. The Nurse Practitioner will also maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.Â

Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to inmates in accordance with established policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.Â

Perform assessments, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication and ordering appropriate tests.Â

Respect and adhere to the facility's safety, infection control, and operational policies, ensuring a safe and effective healthcare environment.Â
What we Ask of YOU:

A current, valid, and unrestricted state license, certification, and/or credential authorizing practice in the applicable clinical role (e.g., MD, DO, DDS, DMD, NP, PA, RN, LPN, LMHP, etc.) is required.A High School diploma or GED is required.Â

For advanced clinical roles, completion of an accredited graduate or professional program (e.g., medical school, dental school, nurse practitioner program, etc.) is required.Â

A current, valid DEA registration, if applicable.Â
