Qualifications & Skills:
• Five (5+) years of hands-on experience in live event AV and lighting, with at least 2 years in a
supervisory or lead technician role.
• In-depth knowledge of live audio best practices, signal flow, Monitor/FOH mixing, DSP’s,
digital audio consoles, wireless systems, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of theatrical lighting, programming, and lighting console operation.
• In-depth knowledge of DVLED display systems, including mounting, calibration, and
control.
• Experience with Video-over-IP and Audio-over-IP systems such as Dante AV, AES67, SDVoE,
Crestron NVX, or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and manage a team in
a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in AV system design, signal flow, digital audio, control programming, and
troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with leading brands and platforms such as LG, Q-SYS, Shure, Yamaha, Biamp, or
Barco.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Education - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Audio
Engineering or a related field, is a plus. Not a requirement.
• CTS or CTS-D certification is a plus
• Manufacturer training or certification (e.g., Crestron, QSC, Extron, etc.).
• Prior experience in Live production
• Prior experience in casino or hospitality AV environments.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays is a must.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate lifts.
• Capable of prolonged standing and working in dynamic, noisy environments.
