PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Electrical Engineer supports the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within our Generator Manufacturing Division. This role plays a key part in ensuring our generator products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability through data-driven analysis, technical documentation, and hands-on collaboration with Production and Process Engineering teams.
The Electrical Engineer will focus on the continuous improvement of electrical design, testing, and manufacturing processes, leveraging data and engineering principles to drive efficiency, consistency, and innovation.

ENGINEERING JOB FUNCTIONS
- Design, validate, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and control components for generator products and related equipment.
- Support manufacturing and assembly operations by providing technical troubleshooting and data-driven problem resolution for electrical issues.
- Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Engineers to integrate electrical components into new and existing product designs.
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documentation using CAD and design software.
- Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations using structured problem-solving and reporting tools.
- Analyze test and production data to identify trends in system performance, electrical failures, or process variation.
- Implement and document design or process changes, ensuring proper version control and technical traceability.
- Collaborate with Operations and Process Engineering to define and maintain electrical test parameters, inspection criteria, and control plans.
- Assist in developing operator training materials for assembly and testing of electrical components.
- Research and recommend improvements in components, tools, and testing methods to improve safety, efficiency, and consistency.
- Maintain compliance with industry codes and standards (UL, NEC, ISO, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
