Schedule/Hours: Seasonal Part-time or Full Time, November and December 2025
This position is responsible for:
Staffing a Salvation Army Red Kettle at an assigned retail location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff the Salvation Army Red Kettle at an assigned location.
- Greet customers and thank donors.
- Represent The Salvation Army appropriately by showing respect, courtesy, and professionalism at all times.
- Ensure kettle is safely stored in the designated area during breaks or shift changes.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to stand throughout entire shift, with the exception of breaks, limited amount of lifting required for light to moderate (less than 50 pounds) objects (kettles).
- Ability to perform continuous stooping, standing and climbing as well as lift and carry and/or push/pull moderate (25 – 50 lbs) and possibly heavy (50-100 lbs) materials and donations.
- Work is performed outdoors with potential exposure to extreme weather or temperatures.
