Position Summary: 

The IT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, cybersecurity, and alignment with business objectives. This role leads a small team and collaborates cross-functionally to support hardware, software, and network systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day IT support and helpdesk operations

- Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff across user support and infrastructure tasks

- Assist in implementing, supporting, and maintaining plant floor equipment including tablets, barcode scanners, workstations, and other production tech

- Serve as a resource for key systems like Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange Online, and the organization's ERP system

- Support the Director of IT with the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and processes

- Assist with the management of vendors and third-party service providers

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand IT needs and deliver reliable solutions

- Maintain and improve documentation for systems, processes, and inventory

- Lead or assist in networking-related projects, including VLAN segmentation, wireless deployment, and     firewall/VPN setup

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of IT experience, including end-user support, infrastructure, and system administration

- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Exchange Online

- Working knowledge of networking technologies including switching, wireless, and VLAN configuration

- Experience with Cisco/Meraki networks or comparable systems

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required (or equivalent demonstrable knowledge)

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-based with occasional work in plant or production areas

May require extended periods of work on the production floor.

You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., equipment)

Occasional after-hours or weekend work for system maintenance or emergencies

Must be able to walk through cold, humid, or warm production environments when needed.
