Position Summary:
DemKota is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives across both B2B and D2C channels. This role is pivotal in elevating the DemKota brand through targeted efforts in food service and retail distribution, while also driving positive ROI across all marketing activities.
The Director will oversee all internal and external brand communications, including print materials, digital content, social media, and website management, ensuring consistency and impact at every touchpoint. A strong emphasis will be placed on building brand equity downstream in B2B channels, supporting the sales team with high-quality deliverables, and coordinating a world-class customer experience during site visits.
Additionally, the Director will collaborate with our D2C third-party coordinator to manage direct-to-consumer marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across B2B and D2C channels, aligned with sales forecasts and business objectives.
- Drive brand growth downstream through food service and retail distribution, ensuring consistent brand messaging and measurable ROI.
- Manage content strategy for all digital and print channels, including website, social media, email, brochures, and sales kits.
- Track and report marketing performance, analyzing sales, expenses, and campaign effectiveness to optimize future initiatives.
- Coordinate and elevate the customer experience, especially during plant visits, by managing hospitality, logistics, and branded touchpoints.
- Plan and execute trade shows, promotional events, and customer visits, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategic goals.
- Oversee marketing material production and inventory, including POS materials, customized deliverables, and photo assets.
- Conduct competitive market research and maintain relevant databases to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain financial stewardship by managing marketing budgets and resource allocations effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including third-party DTC coordinators, to ensure brand consistency and execution.
- Supervise personnel responsible for visitor PPE, equipment inventory, and event setup/cleanup.
- Stay current on industry trends and explore opportunities to enhance brand relevance and market position.
- Support sales team with high-impact presentations, collateral, and storytelling that communicates the DemKota brand.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to organizational goals and continuous improvement.
