The purpose of this position is to lead the planning, execution, and management of capital and other projects across all ILA facilities, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational needs. This role drives successful project outcomes by coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
What you’ll be doing.
- Lead Project Planning and Execution – Develop and implement project plans, define scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage timelines and resources to ensure successful completion.
- Coordinate Resources and Stakeholders – Work closely with the Operations Director, department managers, contractors, and executive staff to align project objectives and ensure smooth execution.
- Manage Budgets and Costs – Prepare and oversee capital budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
- Ensure Quality and Safety – Oversee adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
- Monitor and Report Project Progress – Track milestones, address challenges, and provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders.
What you’ll need to be a successful Project Manager at ILA
- Education and Experience – bachelor’s degree in business or engineering (or equivalent work experience) and 10+ years of extensive project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Project Management and Organizational Skills – Strong ability to plan, organize, and lead complex projects with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing budgets effectively.
- Leadership and Team Management – Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, delegate work, coach team members, and influence others to achieve project goals.
- Technical Proficiency – Expert-level skills in AutoCAD and high competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Access) with strong analytical and data management abilities.
- Communication and Negotiation – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and expert-level negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
