About Us:
Capital is a respected heavy civil construction contractor specializing in roadwork, site development, and infrastructure projects throughout Arkansas. We are currently hiring a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver to support our growing fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with dump trucks and low boy trailers.

Position Summary:
The CDL-A Driver will operate a variety of trucks to transport materials and heavy equipment to and from job sites. This role requires flexibility, safe driving practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate tri-axle and tandem dump trucks to haul aggregates, asphalt, and dirt.
• Transport heavy equipment using a lowboy trailer to and from job sites.
• Ensure proper securing of loads and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and mileage records.
• Communicate with supervisors and equipment operators to coordinate site deliveries and pickups.

• Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving dump trucks and/or hauling heavy equipment with a lowboy.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and load securement practices.
• Ability to operate in all weather conditions and navigate construction sites.
• Must pass a pre-employment background and drug/alcohol screen.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
