NIKA is hiring for a DMLSS Facility Operations Specialist (FOS) who will Support the Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, provide Facility Management analytical support to each AOR with DMLSS and SRM data analytics to assist in effective implementation and utilization of DMLSS-FM systems. This position will be based out of San Antonio, TX or remote from your home base.

Position Roles and Responsibilities
- This support shall include AOR specific Facility Management support, SRM analytical support by AOR, and support to DMLSS-FM Headquarters Team.
- Provide a comprehensive AOR review of facility management processes, DMLSS utilization and provide detailed analysis using flowcharts, Pert charts, Gantt charts or other tools to optimize the use of the DMLSS FM within each designated AOR
- Assist DHA HQ and AOR personnel with the research of possible solutions to facilities issues and recommend other potential solutions necessary to resolve issues
- Assist in the determination of project requirements for new construction, repairs, and alterations for incorporation into DMLSS-FM Requirements module. This includes but not limited to providing project scope information as requested
- Evaluate major items of equipment and systems to determine their condition remaining service life
- Provide AOR support services for developing updating and maintaining new and existing databases within the MTF's to support DMLSS FM. The database entry and updating must be consistent with the DMLSS database structure. The data information must be consistent and presented to the government for approval prior to the final submittal
- Provide recommendations for the DMLSS-FM Implementation Plan that supports activation of DMLSS-FM and other system enhancements following Operational, Test and Evaluation (OT&E) approval for full deployment
- Assist in determination of root cause discrepancies and make recommendations for correction
- Attend various working groups and committees; provide meeting minutes
- Submit DHA and AOR data reports and requests for information as requested
- Submit AOR reports to support workload and performance reporting
- Submit a monthly assessment report
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Incumbent may be required to travel up to 20% of the time
Position Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years DMLSS-FM experience
- Working knowledge of DoD administrative policies, regulations, precedents and planning guidelines, and processes; knowledge of DoD program goals and objectives, the sequence and timing of key program events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of program accomplishments; knowledge of relationships with other Services programs impacting DHA goals and objectives
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
- Possess the ability to analyze information, interpret results, and problem-solving

Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge, familiarity, or background in medical facilities management is desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or other project management solution to manage projects
- College degree preferred but not required
