NIKA is hiring for an Industrial Controls Technician to support the Base Operations (BOS) Contract at Wright – Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs pretest and operational (functional) testing; alignment; and/or calibration of highly complex pneumatic, electronic, and DDC systems, front end devices, components, and/or subassemblies.
- Replaces, repairs, adjusts, configures, and/or modifies pneumatic, electronic, and DDC industrial control systems, front end devices, components, and/or subassemblies.
- Downloads and uploads programing to replacement devices/controllers/components.
- Performs preventive maintenance on electronic, pneumatic, and DDC systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
- Performs backups on ICS systems. Including database (monthly) and controllers (annual or as needed).
Works with ICS Lab SME to provide feedback and ideas relating to energy savings and controls
optimization strategies.
- Creates and/or modifies graphical user interfaces as needed.
- Utilizes safety and security practices and procedures following established rules and regulations and maintains a safe, clean, and secure work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial experience in HVAC Controls systems. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities, gained through relevant training and/or experience, to perform the duties described.
- To perform these duties, controls technician will be required to gain access to the 88th CES ICS network. ICS
access/permission levels shall be determined upon completion background checks, accredited certificates of
training from Johnson Controls or SIEMENS, and/or certificates from approved trainers of those
manufacturers’ controls training school(s).
