NIKA is hiring for a Data Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) DMLSS Division.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct process reviews to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare presentations and briefings that clearly communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Maintain data accuracy, quality, and consistency across systems and reports.
  • Support project planning, tracking, and evaluation efforts.
  • Stay current on best practices, emerging tools, and technologies in analytics and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant analytical experience (varies by level).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of database systems and query tools (e.g., SQL) preferred.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain CAC

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query
  • Experience in process improvement, performance measurement, or project management.
  • Familiarity with data governance, quality assurance principles and database administration.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
  • Knowledge of DMLSS/LogiCole FM standards and procedures.
