NIKA is hiring for an HVAC Technician to support the Base Operations (BOS) Contract at Wright – Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs independently or leads effort of installation, modification, overhaul, operation, repair, and maintenance of a variety of HVAC/R systems covered under contract.
- Performs preventive maintenance and repair of chillers (chilled water systems) up to 100Tons.
- Troubleshoots HVAC/R systems with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgment to locate malfunctions.
- Performs basic electrical work incidental to preventative maintenance and repair work on HVAC/R systems and equipment.
- Utilizes safety practices following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Technicians shall carry Universal Certification under the Clean Air Act Section 608, including supplemental training on R- 410a and R-407c refrigerants.
